Return to In Person Learning - January 25 2021 
Based on the Northwestern Health Unit’s assessment of the COVID-19 situation in Fort Frances, it has been determined that schools in the Fort Frances and surrounding areas can return to in-person learning as of Monday (Jan. 25). 

That means the following schools will reopen on Monday, January 25, 2021:

· Donald Young School 
· Crossroads School 
· J.W. Walker School 
· Robert Moore School 
· Fort Frances High School (Grades 7-12) 
· Mine Centre School 
· St. Mary School 
· Our Lady of the Way School 

Sturgeon Creek Alternative Program and the United Native Friendship Centre Alternative Secondary School Program will also reopen. 

Please note that new health and safety measures have been put in place, which include mandatory masking for students in Grades 1-3. This masking requirement will be additional to the existing requirement for students in Grades 4-12. Students in Kindergarten will continue to be encouraged but will not be required to wear masks.
