CONFIRMED- OSSTF to go ahead with one-day strike
As the Crown/Council of Trustees’ Association and the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation (OSSTF) have not reached an agreement, OSSTF will go ahead with its planned one-day strike on Wednesday, December 4, 2019.
This means high schools will be closed to Grades 9 to 12 students across the District for the day. All elementary schools, including Grade 7 and 8 programs at secondary schools, will be open. Bus service will not be operating for Grades 9-12 students, but will continue as usual for elementary students.
