Practice, Practice, Practice!
School starts next week, and now is the perfect time to help your child(ren) get ready for the new routine.
A few practice runs can make a big difference in helping students feel confident and prepared for the first day.
If your child(ren) ride the bus, take a moment this week to walk with them to and from their bus stop, make sure they know where to wait, and confirm they know which school they attend.
For students who live within walking distance, practicing the safe way to walk to and from school helps them feel comfortable and aware of their surroundings.
A few minutes of practice now helps ensure a smooth, safe start to the 2026–27 school year.
