Busing Updates
Route status is updated with ALL delays greater than 15 minutes. 

Parents are responsible for checking the delays/cancellations page for the current bus status.

Parents are also encouraged to tune in to their local Radio Stations during inclement weather mornings for any cancellations to their student's transportation.

Thursday December 5 2019 BUS DELAYS 

BUS 108 is running approx. 15 minutes late due to a train this morning.

Updated Labour Relations  
CONFIRMED- OSSTF to go ahead with one-day strike

As the Crown/Council of Trustees’ Association and the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation (OSSTF) have not reached an agreement, OSSTF will go ahead with its planned one-day strike on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. 

This means high schools will be closed to Grades 9 to 12 students across the District for the day. All elementary schools, including Grade 7 and 8 programs at secondary schools, will be open. Bus service will not be operating for Grades 9-12 students, but will continue as usual for elementary students.

Labour Relations Update 
The Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation are planning a one day strike for Wednesday, December 4th.
The Rainy River District School Board will be closing ALL high schools to secondary students.
As a result there will be NO busing for students in Grades 9-12 ONLY on Wednesday December 4.
Please note that this one day protest will only effect secondary students (Grades 9-12), ALL elementary schools and ALL Grade 7/8 Programs within high schools will still be running tomorrow with busing as per usual.
Should an agreement be reached in time for Wednesday, there will be class for the Grade 9-12 secondary students with regular bus service.
